Axeda® Administration Home

Notes: Only Platform administrators, Delegated Administrators, or non-administrative users with appropriate privileges, including "Administration - View", can access the Axeda Administration application.

The Axeda® Connected Product Management Applications do not currently support all the capabilities of the Axeda® IDM Agents. Refer to Axeda® IDM Agents for a description of the supported features.

Axeda Administration contains tools for configuring the Axeda® Platform, servers for remote sessions, its supported user groups, users, Delegated Administration, assets, asset groups, privileges, and so forth.

You configure the Platform and access to the Axeda Applications by performing the following activities:

o        Searching for and viewing users, user groups, Delegated Admin Units, asset groups, data item groups, roles, and remote sessions.

o        Creating and updating users, user groups, and Delegated Admin Units (if supported, see Support for Directory Service Operations in Axeda® Connected Product Management Applications), asset groups, and dynamic group definitions, data item groups, partners, and roles.

o        Viewing and configuring report administration, audit log, system properties (system, license, and custom applications), parent server configuration, asset defaults, User Store details, User Branding, remote access, partner login, and settings for archiving and restoring data.

See About Axeda Administration for more information about user authentication and privileges and other Platform administrator tools.
