From this page, you can specify how near-line data should be restored to online data for selected datasets. If you have already moved data from a near-line to an offline archive, then you need to move it back to near-line status before it can be restored.
You can configure separate policies for restoring near-line to online status for the following Platform datasets:
o Data - includes all data items stored in the Platform
o Alarms - includes all alarms stored in the Platform; Agent-generated and Platform-generated
o Events - includes all event stored in the database; Agent-generated and Platform-generated
o Uploads - includes all files uploaded from Agents
o Audit - includes all audit log records
o Cases - includes all closed case management records (if the Platform is licensed for Case Management).
The table shows the following information for the Platform's current archive policy:
o Data Set - dataset specified by this archive policy
o From Date - earliest date for which data should be restored
o To Date - latest date for which data should be restored
o Expiration Date - date this policy expires
You can create or modify the policy for restoring near-line data to the Platform; delete configured policy data sets; and edit the assets to which a data set applies.
o The maximum number of rows supported for returning Platform search results for this type of table is defined in your user preferences, Items Per Page setting (Long table or Short table).
o Use the table navigation tools to view different pages and information in the table.
o Use (Refresh link) beside the table navigation tools to refresh the page with the latest Platform results. (Browser Refresh tools do not update the table.)
