Select a role to view or edit its properties

This table shows the names of all roles defined in the Axeda® Platform. You can sort the information in the columns.

Procedures from this page

You can click on any of the role links shown in the table to view or edit that information for that role.

To view more information for a role

Click one item of role information shown in the table, as follows:

o        Role Name - Shows the Create or edit a role page, in which you can edit the information for the selected role.

o        Actions:

§         Users - Shows the View and assign users to this role page, in which you can assign users to the selected role.

§         User Groups - Shows the View and assign user groups to this role page, in which you can assign user groups to the selected role.

§         Schedules - Shows the Manage schedules for this role page, which shows the schedule(s) configured for this role.

To delete a role record

In the row corresponding to the role you want to delete, click Delete.

The related role is removed from the Axeda Platform.

Tips

o        The maximum number of rows supported for returning Platform search results for this type of table is defined in your user preferences, Items Per Page setting (Long table or Short table).

o        Use the table navigation tools to view different pages and information in the table.

o        Use image\icon_refresh.gif (Refresh link) beside the table navigation tools to refresh the page with the latest Platform results. (Browser Refresh tools do not update the table.)

o        To determine which assets are included in the model; which user groups have privileges for this asset group; or which asset groups are included in this asset group, return to the View and manage asset groups page and select the related links.
