The View and remove Delegated Admin Units page allows Platform Administrators and Delegated Administrators to view information about Delegated Admin Units (DA Units) they have created, to select a DA Unit for editing, and to remove an existing DA Unit. For each DA Unit, the table displays the Name assigned when the DA Unit was created, additional information about the DA Unit (Description), and the Asset Group selected as the "root" Asset Group (or top Parent Asset Group) for the DA Unit when it was created. In the rightmost column for each DA Unit is a check box that you select if you want to delete a DA Unit.
Important! When you delete a DA Unit, all information in the Platform associated with that DA Unit is removed. This information includes the following objects users, user groups, assets, asset groups, organizations, locations, regions, contacts, custom objects, notifications, expression rules, rule timers, state machines, threshold rules, geofences, dynamic group definitions, systems, cases, software packages, maintenance items, asset conditions, and custom applications. For information about the security of objects in a DA Unit, refer to Security for Objects in Delegated Administration Units.
