Jump to list for a user group

The options in the Jump to list provide another way to navigate information for the related user group. For the most part, the page shown for an "Edit" or "View All" link in a User Group overview module is the same page shown from the corresponding Jump to option.

For example, both the Privileges module's Edit link and the Jump to Edit Privilege Assignments link show the Add and remove application privileges page.

The options shown in the Jump to list for a user group are limited by user group privileges of the logged in user. For example, if your user group does not have the "Administration - Asset Groups - View" privilege, the view asset group assignments option will not be shown. Many of the "edit" Jump To items require you to provide LDAP authentication credentials. Only server administrators or non-admin users who can provide an LDAP authenticated account can view or edit the selected user group information.

The possible Jump to options are as follows (different options may appear in your list):

• view user group properties - shows user group overview page with all the information for this user group

• edit user group properties - shows the notes, description, and asset security for this user group

• view privilege assignments - shows privileges currently assigned for this user group

• edit privilege assignments - shows privileges currently assigned for this user group

• view user assignments - shows all assigned and unassigned privileges for modification

• edit user assignments - shows all assigned and unassigned users for modification

• view user group assignments - shows all user groups currently assigned to this user group

• edit user group assignments - shows all user groups assigned and unassigned privileges for modification

• view asset group assignments - shows all asset groups currently assigned to this user group

• edit asset group assignments - shows all assigned and unassigned asset groups for modification

• view data item group assignments - shows all data item groups currently assigned to this user group

• edit data item group assignments - shows all assigned and unassigned data item groups for modification

• view location assignments - shows all locations currently assigned to this user group

• view organization assignments - shows all organizations currently assigned to this user group

• view region assignments - shows all regions currently assigned to this user group

• edit location assignments - shows all assigned and unassigned locations for modification

• edit organization assignments - shows all assigned and unassigned organizations for modification

• edit region assignments - shows all assigned and unassigned regions for modification
