Add and remove users for user group

Shows all users assigned to the user group. All users in the user group can view data from all assets in the asset groups assigned to the user group, including adding or removing assets for the asset groups, and configuring rule and action assignments for the asset groups.

How to add users to the associated user group

1.       From the Unassigned Users table, select the users to add to this user group.

2.       Click Add Checked. Selected users appear in the Users in this User Group table. To add all users defined in the Platform, click Add All.

How to remove asset groups from the associated user group

1.       From the Users in this User Group table, select the users to remove from this user.

2.       Click Remove Checked. Removed users appear in the Unassigned Users table. To remove all users currently assigned to this user group, click Remove All.

Important! If you remove a user from all user groups to which it is assigned, then the user is removed from the Axeda Applications but not from the Platform. The Platform will not permit you to recreate a user account with that same name since the account still exists in the Platform.

Tip

Use the Jump to box to view or edit other information for the user group. All Jump to options are described in the Help for the User Group overview page. Edit options appear only if the Administration application is configured to allow editing of user group information.
