Note: Access to this page is limited to administrators and to non-Admin users with the appropriate privilege assignments and an authenticated directory service log in account.
The Edit User Group wizard enables you to change the description and notes for the selected user group.
The wizard information for a user group is presented as follows:
o Edit User Group - as needed, change the description and notes information for the user group. You cannot change the name of the user group nor can you change the Parent User Group.
o Store User group Information - shows the properties defined for this user group; you can submit the changes to the Platform or return to the previous screen, make additional changes, and then submit them.
Warning! When moving backward and forward through the wizard, use the wizard's Back and Next buttons. Do NOT use your browser's back and forward tools.
From this page, you can edit the properties (description or notes) for this user group.
1. Type the new description or note, or edit the existing description or note,.
Note: The user group name and Parent User Group cannot be changed.
2. Click Next. The Asset Security for User Groups page appears.
Select an option from the Jump To list to view or edit other information for this user group. For example, click "Edit User Assignments" to add or remove users for this user group. The Jump To options shown depend upon your security access and privileges in the Applications, and directory service support for modifications from the Axeda® Connected Product Management Applications.
