Set Asset Condition actions enable you to control the setting and unsetting of asset conditions. More specifically, these actions can force the Axeda® Platform to write a non-triggered asset condition ("set the condition") or remove a non-triggered asset condition from the Platform ("unset") for an associated asset.
Refer to the following topics for details about asset conditions:
o "Set" and "Unset" Asset Conditions
o Configuring Asset Conditions
o More information on Set Asset Condition actions
Set Asset Condition actions are comprised of condition types and conditions. Condition types identify the action that will be performed; in this case, either setting a condition for an asset or unsetting a condition for an asset. Conditions are the actual condition value to set for the asset, for example, Good, Warning, or Error and the associated color icon.
In this page, you select the condition (value) for this Set Asset Condition action.
From this page, you can select the condition for the set asset condition action.
Select a non-triggered
asset condition to write to or remove from the Platform for this action.
Axeda strongly recommends that you choose only non-triggered conditions
for use with asset condition actions. Refer to the topics listed under

o You can view the current statuses for assets in the Assets by Status module on the home page of the Service application. In addition, you can search for assets by specific asset condition (for example, to find all assets in an "Error" condition), using the Search for Assets tool in the Service application home page.
o You can view the summary of current asset conditions by mousing over the Status field on the Asset dashboard. The popup displays the different conditions currently set for the asset. The Status field itself shows only the condition with the highest severity.
o In the Service application, Asset dashboard Rules and Actions modules, you can view and enable or disable the rules and actions configured for a specific asset.
o The Service application, Asset dashboard Audit log module, shows a log of activity for the selected asset, including registration, actions run, alarms acknowledged, Statuses, usage value setting, and more. Also, if you have privileges to the Administration application, you can search the Audit Log for asset, Platform, and user activity.
