Assets due for Maintenance

Note: Axeda Preventive Maintenance is a separately licensed application. If the Platform is not licensed for it, the Preventive Maintenance application and associated tools and features will not display in the Axeda® Connected Product Management Applications. (Contact Axeda Technical Support for more information.) Also, your ability to view assets and maintenance functionality is controlled by user group privileges. Contact your Platform administrator if you have questions about your privileges.

The Assets due for Maintenance page displays a list of all assets for which you have configured maintenance items and that have sent new values for the data items associated with the maintenance items. If you recently added a maintenance item, you cannot see it in this page until the asset sends a new value for the data item(s) associated with the maintenance item.

By default, the filtering tool for this page is closed. Click Filters if you want to shorten the list or display only certain assets. The available Filters are:

o        Status - Select the icon for the Status of assets that you want to see: image\icon_status_green.gif, image\icon_status_red.gif, image\icon_status_yellow.gif, and so forth. This icon is set by the current asset condition. For example, the Green icon indicates the default asset condition (Status) of Good for the asset. The other icons available depend on the asset conditions that are configured in the Platform.

o        Name - Type all or part of the name of an asset whose maintenance information you want to see. You can use a wildcard (*) in this field to display multiple assets whose names are similar. For example, to see all assets of the model T80, type T80*. The list displays all assets whose names begin with T80 that have maintenance items configured and for which the data item associated with the maintenance item has been received.

o        Organization - Select the name of the Organization whose assets you want to see in this list. The list displays the names of all organizations configured in the Platform. If you are a Service Technician who services the assets for a particular customer, you may find this filter useful in determining which assets you need to service today.

After selecting filtering criteria, click Filter to refresh the list with the assets in which you are interested. If you want to change all the filters and search again, click Clear and reset the filters.

To hide the filtering tools, click Close.

This page displays the following information for each asset and its maintenance item:

o        Asset online image\icon_notmissingdevice.gif or Asset missing image\icon_missingdevice.gif icons

o        Status icons such as image\icon_status_green.gif, image\icon_status_red.gif, image\icon_status_yellow.gif

o        Name - The name assigned to the asset in the Platform.

o        Organization - This column displays the name of the organization assigned to the asset in the Platform.

o        Location - This column displays the name of the site where this asset is deployed.

o        Maintenance Item - The name assigned to the maintenance item that is due for servicing. For example OilChange, TonerCartridge, or PrintCount.

o        Current Counter Value - This column displays the current value of the Counter for the maintenance item. For example, if the Counter represents the odometer of a motor vehicle, this value would be the current reading of the odometer. For example, an odometer might currently read 10,500 miles

o        Current Target Count - This column displays the current setting for the Target Count of the maintenance item. For example, a maintenance item associated with a motor vehicle might be an oil change, with the Interval set to 3000, meaning that the vehicle is scheduled for an oil change every 3000 miles. If the Target Count is 12000, the vehicle is next scheduled for an oil change at 12,000 miles.

o        Counts remaining to reach Target - This column displays the difference between the Current Target Count and the Current Counter Value. Continuing the motor vehicle example, the difference between the current reading of the odometer (10,500) and the Target Count (12000) is 1500.

o        Date Target Value (number of days) - The value in parentheses beside the date is the number of days remaining from now until the Date of the Target.

To view the Service Asset dashboard for an asset, click the name of the asset. From the Service Asset dashboard, select Maintenance Asset dashboard to display the Maintenance Asset dashboard for the asset.

This page includes a button that enables you to select assets and add them to your Watch list. To add assets to the Watch list

1.       For an asset shown in the table, select the check box after the Date Target Value column.

To add all assets shown to your Watch list, select the check box in the table header. This automatically selects all check boxes in that column. (You can clear the check boxes for assets that you do not want to add to the Watch list.) Skip to step 3.

2.       Repeat step 1 for each asset you want to add to your Watch list.

3.       Click Add Checked to Watch List. You will see the selected watch list assets in the Your Watch List page.
