View menu - Asset modules from Assets application

The ability for you to view asset modules in the Axeda® Service application page depends upon your Platform's settings and your user group privileges. Within each module, you can select an asset to display on the Asset dashboard, in which you can view all information for the asset or update the asset's configuration. The number of assets shown in each module is set in the Platform.

Selecting a View menu item shows a page with all assets found in the Platform to which the View menu selection applies.

Assets with alarms

o        To view assets containing the most recent and highest priority, active alarms, select View and point to the Assets with alarms menu item. You can select an asset to view the Asset dashboard with the information for that asset.

o        To view all assets with alarms (and to which you have privileges), select the Assets with Alarms menu item. This displays the Assets with Alarms page.

Assets in watch list

o        To view assets you've added to your personal watch list, select View and point to the Assets in watch list menu item. You can select an asset to view the Asset dashboard with the information for that asset.

o        To view all assets in your watch list, select the Assets in Watch List menu item. This displays the Your Watch List page. Your watch list may include assets on which you need to focus, or for which you need to be able to continuously track status, behavior, or uptime.

Assets by status

o        To view assets that have most recently changed in status and with the highest severity level, select View and point to the Assets by Status menu item. You can select an asset to view the Asset dashboard with the information for that asset.

o        To view all assets by status (and to which you have privileges), select the Assets by Status menu item. This displays the Assets by Status page.

Missing Assets

o        To view those assets that have not contacted the Platform as expected and may be offline, select View and point to the Missing Assets menu item. You can select an asset to view the Asset dashboard with the information for that asset.

o        To view all assets by status (and to which you have privileges), select the Missing Assets menu item. The Missing Assets page appears.

Assets due for maintenance

o        To view all assets for which maintenance items have been configured (and to which you have privileges), select the Assets due for maintenance menu item. The Assets due for maintenance page appears. Note that, before the assets appear in this page, they must have sent new values for the data items that are associated with the maintenance items. A newly added maintenance item does not appear here until its associated data item has been updated.

o        If you hover over this menu item, a second-level menu displays the names of assets that are due for maintenance. You can click the name of an asset to navigate to the Maintenance Asset dashboard for the asset. This action is a shortcut for displaying the Assets due for Maintenance page and then clicking the name of the asset in that page.
