Asset dashboard - Remote Sessions module

For assets running an Axeda® Gateway,  Axeda® Connector, or Axeda Agent Embedded Agent, the Remote Sessions module displays the remote sessions configured for this agent.

To start a remote session with an asset running one of these Agents, select the type of session in this module. The module shows the session type most recently used at the top of the list.

This module provides access to the Quick Launch feature for Remote Desktop sessions and, for each Desktop session in the list, provides a Download Viewer link that will download the viewer associated with the Desktop session (in the Model Remote Interfaces page of the Configuration application).

If a Remote Terminal session is currently active and set up for multiple users, you can click the Join link to join the session (unless you are the current owner of the session). The first three characters of the login name of the user who started or currently owns the session is shown; you can point to that partial user name to see the entire login name.

To view all remote session types configured for this asset, click View all.

For assets running these agents, you can assign one or more Global Access Servers to the asset by clicking Assign Servers.

For assets running Axeda® IDM Agents that are communicating with Axeda Platform and configured to make connections through the TotalAccess Server, this module displays the TotalAccess Connection Types configured for the asset (both in the agent configuration and in the TotalAccess Connection Bindings page of the Model wizard in the Configuration application).
