The Data module displays the most recent value changes in data items for this asset. For assets running Axeda Gateway, Axeda Connector, or Axeda IDM Agents, these values are generated by the asset and published to the Axeda Platform.
For assets tracked by (associated with) "smart" mobile or fixed wireless assets, these values are reported by the "tracking" asset. As long as mappings between destination (target) data items (those defined for the "tracking" asset) and the source data items (those defined for the "tracked" asset) exist in the Platform, the values reported by the "tracking" asset are displayed in the dashboard for both the "tracked" asset and the "tracking" asset. If no data item mapping exists, the data item is shown in the "tracking" asset dashboard only. If you request a data item for a "tracked" asset which is associated with "tracking" asset (that is, a model association and data item mapping identifies the tracking asset as the source of the data and the tracked asset as the destination (target) of the data), that data item value appears in this module.
Note: Only data that is produced by an Agent is forwarded to target assets. Any data that is generated by an expression rule is NOT forwarded to target assets.
If your Platform has asset associations that create Composite Assets, the values reported by the components of the Composite Asset are visible in this module of the Asset dashboards for both the component and the Composite Asset if the proper associations have been created. You can also view asset associations for the current asset in the Asset Associations module.
To see all current data item entries for an asset, click Current. To search for historical data, click Historical.
To configure which data items are shown for assets of this model, navigate to the Configuration application, and select Models on the View menu. For this model, select the Preferences link (in the UI Configuration column) to display the UI Preferences page. From that page, you can select to configure the data items to be displayed in the Asset dashboards for assets of this model.
Notes:
If a data item that you expect to see in this module does not appear
here or in the Current or Historical Data Item Values
pages, check that the data item has been selected in the UI
Preferences for the model. If the data item does not appear for selection
there, then check the Model - Data
Items page of the Model wizard. It may be that the data item has its
Visible attribute off (unchecked) and/or that it has the Storage option
set to No History or Not Stored.
The Maintenance Items
module displays
any maintenance items that have been associated with data items whose
recent changes appear here.
