View and manage systems

The View and manage systems page shows all systems located in the Platform for the search information selected. The table shows the following information for each system:

Note: In a Platform where Delegated Administration is enabled, the names of systems may contain prefixes. For details, refer to Names of Objects in DA Units.

Procedures from this page

From this page, you can select to filter the list of systems based on search criteria; view more information for a system, or remove systems from the Platform.

To filter the list of systems

1. Click Filters to show the filter boxes.

2. To view all systems, click Filter without typing any search values. To narrow your search, do the following.

a. In the box above the Name column, type all or part of the name of the system(s) you want to find.

b. In the box above the Description column, type all or part of the description of the system(s) you want to find.

3. Click Filter. The Axeda® Platform finds all systems in the Platform that contain the search value(s) defined and shows those systems in the table.

To view more information for a system

Click the system name shown in the table. The Axeda® Platform locates the information configured for the system and shows the results in the System wizard pages. You can add or change the information shown for the selected system.

To remove systems from the Platform

1. Do one of the following to remove systems from the Platform:

a. Select the check box(es) for all the systems you want to remove and click Remove Selected Systems.

b. To remove all systems in the Platform, click the check box in the table header and click Remove Selected Systems.

A message appears prompting you to confirm that you want to permanently remove these systems.

2. Click OK. The systems are removed from the table and Platform.

Tips

o The maximum number of rows supported for returning Platform search results for this type of table is defined in your user preferences, Items Per Page setting (Long table or Short table).

o Use the table navigation tools to view different pages and information in the table.

o Use $image\icon_refresh.gif$ (Refresh link) beside the table navigation tools to refresh the page with the latest Platform results. (Browser Refresh tools do not update the table.)
