Use the pages in the System wizard to create systems or edit existing ones. This wizard prompts you for the information required to create a system. For existing systems, the wizard shows the existing information and properties for that system and permits you to make changes as needed.
The wizard information for a system is presented as follows:
o System Definition - specify system name and description.
o System Assets - specify assets that are included in this system.
o Confirmation - view a summary of the system definition before saving changes.
Warning! When moving backward and forward through the wizard, use the wizard's Back and Next buttons. Do NOT use your browser's tools back and forward tools.
1. Type the new system name. This is required information. The system name can be up to 50 alphanumeric characters in length. The system appears by this name in the Axeda® Connected Product Management Applications.
2. Type an optional description of the system.
1. Type the changes to make to the system. You can modify any of the system settings.
2. When you are finished, click Next to configure or view the assets for this system, or click Finish if you are done modifying the system. If you click Cancel and continue canceling, all information configured in this wizard is removed and the View and manage systems page appears.
