Shows the asset groups assigned to the partner you are viewing (as selected from the View Partners page). A new partner will not have access to assets until you assign the asset groups to that partner.
Once you assign an asset group to a partner, that partner's contacts will be able to see the asset data and use any Axeda® Connected Product Management Applications tools specific to the assets defined in that asset group. For example, a partner can be assigned only to cases for those assets to which the partner has access.
The Unassigned Asset Groups and Asset Groups for Partner tables show the following information for each asset group:
o Name -- the name assigned to this asset group in the Platform.
o Parent Asset Group -- the fully qualified path name for the Parent Asset Group of this asset group. For example, if the asset group is a default model asset group (created when an asset of this model registered with the Axeda® Platform), its Parent Asset Group is the Default Model Group, and the path is /Root Asset Group/Default Model Group.
Note: It is possible for asset groups of the same name to exist in different hierarchies, so check the Parent Asset Group field to be sure that you have the asset group you want to assign (or remove).
o Description -- text entered by a user that describes the asset group
o Model -- only if the asset group is a default model asset group, this field shows the model for which this default group was created.
You can specify the asset groups (and therefore, assets) for this partner.
