Each partner may have one or more contacts. The contacts are the actual individuals who will connect to a partner login session and use the Axeda® Connected Product Management Applications tools during a login session. Consider, as an example, the ACME support group. In this example, the partner, "ACME Support group", may have three contacts: John Smith, Mary Jones, and Bill Brown. When a partner login session is created for ACME Support group, one of the contacts of that group would receive the login session request e-mail and then log in to the login session to perform the necessary tasks.
Privileged partner contacts can log in to the Axeda Applications without providing a session login code.
A Partner contact is limited to accessing only those cases to which he or she is assigned.
A partner login session may be defined as Exclusive; this means only the selected contact can connect to the session.
