If your custom rule passes parameters to the defined method at runtime, this page shows the form for the rule.
Note: This page appears only if you have created custom rules with an earlier version of Axeda® Connected Product Management Applications. It does not appear for new custom rules created with version 5.3.1 or later.
From this page, you can view and configure the setup page for the custom rule, if applicable.
If your custom rule prompts the user for input during runtime, the browser form for that information is shown in this page. You can specify how the values are shown.
You can type the URL of the page to use for setting up this rule. For example, if there are additional parameters to configure for your Custom rule, this URL should link to the JSP you created and in which you can configure those parameters.
Otherwise, if there are no values to pass to the custom rule at runtime, no setup page is shown and you can click Next to continue with the Rule wizard.
When you are finished, click Next to configure the actions for the rule. If you click Cancel and continue canceling, all information configured in this wizard is removed and a list of rules appears.
o In the Rules module of the Asset dashboard (Axeda® Service application), you can view and enable or disable the rules configured for a specific asset.
o The Audit Log module of the Asset dashboard shows a log of activity for the selected asset, including registration, actions run, alarms acknowledged, statuses, usage value setting, and more. Also, if you have privileges to the Administration application, you can search the Audit log for asset, Platform, and user activity.
