Manage schedules for this role

Use the tools in this page to configure business schedules for the role selected in the Select a role to view or edit its properties page. The Axeda® Platform uses this information to determine which people to contact for notifications, such as for e-mail actions.

Procedures from this page

From this page, you can configure a new work schedule for the selected role, or delete a schedule for the role.

How to configure a schedule for this role

Note: You need to provide information for all fields in this page to create the role's schedule.

  1. From the User list, select the name of the user for this role schedule. This name is required and the list of names is derived from the Platform for the related role.

  2. If you do not see the user you want to select, you first need to add the user to the role in the View and assign users to this role page, accessible from the View and remove application users page for a selected user.

  3. From the Time Zone list, select the time zone associated with the asset location. This value is required.

  4. Select the start day (of the week), and time (24-hour and minute format).

  5. Select the end day (of the week), and time (24-hour and minute format).

  6. Click Add. The new schedule you created appears in the page.

  7. Repeat steps 1 through 5 to create all the schedules for this role.
     

How to delete schedules for this role

Do one of the following to delete schedules assigned to this role:

Tips

o        The maximum number of rows supported for returning Platform search results for this type of table is defined in your user preferences, Items Per Page setting (Long table or Short table).

o        Use the table navigation tools to view different pages and information in the table.

o        Use image\icon_refresh.gif (Refresh link) beside the table navigation tools to refresh the page with the latest Platform results. (Browser Refresh tools do not update the table.)
