The Manage user groups for <asset_group> page shows all user groups currently assigned to the asset group selected in the View and manage asset groups page appears. All users in the selected user groups can modify the related asset group, including adding or removing assets from the asset group and configuring rule, action, and software package assignments to the assets in the asset group. Only user groups configured with privileges to the asset group are shown.
Notes:
Only Administrators or non-admin users with privileges to the Axeda® Administration
application (such as Delegated
Administrators) can view this page and its information.
The user groups created by the
Platform for Delegated Admin Units (for example, DA_Unit_A_23400_user_group)
are NOT visible in this page. The association between the default user
group for a DA Unit and its "root" asset group is created by
the Platform when the DA Unit is created. To change the asset group designated
as the "root" asset group for a DA Unit (and thereby the association
of the default user group with the "root" asset group), you
need to go to the Overview page for the DA Unit. You can access this page
by selecting the DA Unit in the View and remove
Delegated Admin Units
page, and then selecting the Edit link in the center of the Overview
page.
You can add or remove user groups from this asset group.
Do one of the following to add user groups to the asset group:

To remove all user groups shown in the current page of the table, click the check box in the table header and then click Remove checked.
To remove all
user groups in the User Groups for Asset Group table, click Remove all. If there are multiple
pages in the table, all user groups from all pages are removed.
The Unassigned User Groups table shows all user groups you removed.
When you are finished assigning or removing user groups for this asset group, click Save Changes below the tables. If you want to cancel any changes made to this page without saving, click Cancel. Whether you save or cancel, the View and manage asset groups page appears.
