If you can see this page, your Platform is running with an LDAP directory service that can be accessed through the Axeda® Administration application. This page shows properties for the user selected in the View and remove application users page. You can edit the properties for a user, including the user's full name, password, e-mail address(es), Administrator assignment within the Applications, and more. You can delete this user, which will delete the user from the Platform database AND from the LDAP service.
Also, from this page you can select to view and edit the user group assignments for this user.
Jump to - If you don't see the information you need for the user in this page, use the Jump To list. For example, in the Jump to list, select edit user group properties to edit the list of user groups to which this user is assigned. The items in the Jump to list vary based on user privileges. The page shown for a Jump to selection contains the same information as that shown for an Edit or View all link when selected from one of the pages or the User Groups module; for the "edit user group properties" example above, that would be the Edit link from the User Groups module.
From this page, you can modify or delete the user record, and view or modify the user groups assigned to this user.
Either click the Edit link (below the Last Logon Date), or select edit user properties from the Jump To list.
The Edit
User wizard - View and modify user attributes page appears with the
information configured for the user.
To view information about all user groups to which
this user belongs, either click View
All in the User Groups module, or select view
user group assignments from the Jump
to list. The View user groups
for user page appears.
To edit the user groups to which this user belongs,
either click Edit in the User
Groups module, or select edit user group
assignments from the Jump to
list. The View and modify user group
assignments page appears with the user groups currently assigned and
available for assignment to this user.
Under Last Logon Date, click Delete. A window appears prompting you to confirm this deletion.
Click OK. The user is deleted from the Platform database and the directory service.
Note: The Platform prevents you from deleting the user account that you used to log in to the Platform.
