Use to modify the list of regions assigned to this user group. If asset security is enabled for the Regions module, then only assets of assigned regions will be available to the users.
The Unassigned Regions and Regions for User Group tables in this page provide the following information:
o Name -- the unique identifier for the region stored in the Platform.
o Description -- additional information about the region, as entered by the user who created or last edited the region.
o Parent -- the region selected as the Parent Region for the related region.
If required, you can filter the table of Unassigned Regions, using the simple search fields above each column. You can use the wildcard (*) in the Name and Description fields. From the dropdown list above the Parent column, you can select a particular Parent Region to filter the table. After entering the filter criteria, click Filter to display the regions that match your criteria.
You can add or remove region(s) for this user group. Click the title of one of the following procedures to display it; click the title again to hide it:.
When you are finished adding or removing regions for this user group, click
Save Changes below the tables.
o Use the Jump to box to view or edit other information for the user group. All Jump to options are described in the Help for the User Group overview page. Edit options appear only if the Administration application is configured to allow editing of user group information.
o The maximum number of rows supported for returning Platform search results for this type of table is defined in your user preferences, Items Per Page setting (Long table or Short table).
o Use the table navigation tools to view different pages and information in the table.
o Use (Refresh link) beside the table navigation tools to refresh the page with the latest Platform results. (Browser Refresh tools do not update the table.)
