View and manage organizations page

Shows all organizations located in the Platform for the search criteria specified, and to which you have privileges.

o Name (In a Platform with Delegated Administration enabled, the names of organizations may have prefixes; for details, refer to Names of Objects in DA Units.)

Procedures from this page

From this page, you can select to filter the list of organizations based on search criteria; view more information for an organization, or remove organizations from the Platform.

To filter the list of organization

1. Click Filters to show the filter boxes.

2. To view all organizations to which you have privileges, click Filter without typing any search values. To narrow your search, do the following.

a. In the box above the Name column, type all or part of the name of the organization(s) you want to find.

b. In the box above the Description column, type all or part of the description of the organization(s) you want to find.

3. Click Filter. The Axeda Platform finds all organizations defined in the Platform that contain the search value(s) and shows those organizations in this table.

To view more information for an organization

In the Name column of the table, click the name of the organization. The Axeda Platform locates the information configured for the organization and shows the results in the Enter a name and description for this organization page. You can add to or change the information shown for the selected organization.

To remove an organization

1. Select the check box(es) for the organization(s) you want to remove. To remove all organizations shown in this page (not the entire table), select the check box in the table heading.

2. Click Delete. A message appears prompting you to confirm that you want to permanently remove these organizations.

3. Click OK. The organizations are removed from the table and the Platform.

Tips

o The maximum number of rows supported for returning Platform search results for this type of table is defined in your user preferences, Items Per Page setting (Long table or Short table).

o Use the table navigation tools to view different pages and information in the table.

o Use $image\icon_refresh.gif$ (Refresh link) beside the table navigation tools to refresh the page with the latest Platform results. (Browser Refresh tools do not update the table.)
