Custom actions enable the Axeda® Platform to do whatever action the developer defined for the action.
If your custom action passes parameters to the defined method at runtime, this page shows the form for the action.
From this page, you can view and configure the setup page for the custom action, if applicable.
If your custom action prompts the user for input during runtime, the browser form for that information is shown in this page. You can specify how the values are shown.
You can type the URL of the page to use for setting up this action. For example, if there are additional parameters to configure for your Custom action, this URL should link to the JSP you created and in which you can configure those parameters.
Otherwise, if there are no values to pass to the custom action at runtime, no setup page is shown and you can click Next to continue with the Action wizard.
When you are finished, click Next to select the user groups with edit permissions for this action. If you click Finish, the action confirmation page appears. If you click Cancel and continue canceling, all information configured in this wizard is removed.
o In the Axeda® Service application, Asset dashboard Rules module, you can view and enable or disable the rules configured for a specific asset.
o The Service application, Asset dashboard Audit log module, shows a log of activity for the selected asset, including registration, actions run, alarms acknowledged, statuses, usage value setting, and more. Also, if you have privileges to the Administration application, you can search the Audit log for asset, Enterprise Server, and user activity.
