The Specify Asset Dashboard Layout for <model> page shows how information is presented in the Asset dashboard (Axeda® Service application) for all assets of this model type.
The page shows the following information for the model:
o Available Modules - modules that are not currently selected to appear in the Asset dashboard for this model
o Left Column - modules selected to appear on the left side of the Asset dashboard for this model
o Center Column - modules selected to appear in the center of the Asset dashboard for this model, directly below the asset summary.
o Right Column - modules selected to appear in the right side of the Asset dashboard for this model
* Extended UI Modules
Extended UI Module names end with an asterisk "*". You can select up to ten Extended UI Modules for display in the Asset dashboard for this model. If you select to show a lot of modules (extended UI modules or standard Axeda Applications modules), the Asset dashboard may appear crowded and hard to navigate. Axeda recommends that you take this into consideration when selecting modules for display in the Asset dashboard.
From this page, you can customize the appearance of the Service application's Asset dashboard for the selected model, and you can restore the default layout.
1. To remove a module from its current placement in the Asset dashboard, select the module and click the left arrow next to the location list. The module moves to the Available Modules list.
2. To add a module to the Asset dashboard, select it in the Available Modules list, and then click the right arrow next to the location list to which you want to add the module. A module can appear in one section of the dashboard only; to move a module to a different section, you must first remove it from its current section.
Note: If you are running Axeda IDM Agents on any of your assets and your Platform administrator has enabled the display of pages for IDM support, you will see the TotalAccess Sessions module as an option. Select this option to enable the Remote Sessions module to display the connection types that the asset publishes to the TotalAccess Server.
3. To change the sequence that a module appears in a section of the dashboard, select the module and then click the up arrow icon (to the right of the location list) to move the module up in the sequence or the down arrow icon to move the module down in the sequence.
4. Click Submit.
1. Click Revert to Default Layout Settings. The page refreshes to show the default layout for Asset dashboards for all models. (For information about how to set up or modify the default layout, see Specify Default Layout for Asset Dashboards).
