The Specify Default Asset Dashboard Layout page shows the layout and default behavior of the modules on the Asset dashboard of the Axeda® Service application for all models and assets. (For information about how to modify the default modules shown for individual model types, see Specify Asset Overview Layout for model.)
This page shows the following information for the default layout:
o Available Modules - modules that are not currently selected to appear in the Asset dashboard
o Left Column - modules selected to appear on the left side of the Asset dashboard
o Center Column - modules selected to appear in the center of the Asset dashboard, directly below the asset summary.
o Right Column - modules selected to appear in the right side of the Asset dashboard
Important! The Asset Association module should ALWAYS be displayed in the Center Column. If you attempt to display it in the left or right columns, it will not display correctly.
* Extended UI Modules
Extended UI Module names end with an asterisk "*". You can select up to ten (10) Extended UI Modules for display in the Asset dashboard. If you select to show a lot of modules (extended UI modules or standard Axeda Applications modules), the Asset dashboard may appear crowded and hard to navigate. Axeda recommends that you take this into consideration when selecting modules for display in the Asset dashboard.
From this page, you can set the default layout of the Service application's Asset dashboard for all model types.
1. To remove a module from its current placement in the dashboard, select the module and click the left arrow next to the location list. The module moves to the Available Modules list.
2. To add a module to the dashboard, select it in the Available Modules list, and then click the right arrow next to the location list to which you want to add the module. A module can appear in one section of the dashboard only; to move a module to a different section, you must first remove it from its current section.
3. To change the sequence that a module appears in a section of the dashboard, select the module and then click the up arrow icon (to the right of the location list) to move the module up in the sequence or the down arrow icon to move the module down in the sequence.
4. Click
Submit.
