In this step, you specify the organization and location of that organization for this Axeda® Gateway asset. You can add a new organization or select an existing organization. If you select an existing organization, you can select from the existing locations associated with that organization or you can create a location. If you add a new organization, you are prompted to also create a location.
Whether you choose an existing organization and location or add new ones, you can select to have the organization and location configured for this gateway also assigned as the default organization and location for all assets managed by this gateway (set through Gateway provisioning).
If you do not see the organization you want, click Create new organization and add the organization and location information for the new organization. If you see the organization but not the location you want, click Create new location and create a location for the organization.
If you have privileges to change the organization information for a specific asset, you can select to edit this information for the selected asset from its Asset dashboard in the Axeda® Service application. The Gateway wizard - Organization step appears. You can make changes to the information configured for this gateway asset and then save those changes; those changes appear immediately in the Asset dashboard.
When you are finished configuring or viewing the gateway asset definition, click Next to configure the asset groups in which this gateway asset is defined.
If you are all done configuring or viewing this gateway asset, click Finish and the gateway asset confirmation wizard page appears (or the Service application, if you are editing the asset from the Asset dashboard - Tasks module, Edit link).
If you click Cancel and continue canceling, all information configured in this wizard is removed and a list of all gateway assets appears (or the Service application, if you are editing the asset from the Asset dashboard - Tasks module, Edit link).
If you have privileges to change the contact information for this gateway asset, you can select to edit this information for this gateway asset in the Service Asset dashboard - Tasks module, Edit link. The Gateway wizard - Contacts step appears. You can make changes to the information configured for this gateway asset and then save those changes; those changes appear immediately in the Asset dashboard.
