Models for alarm definition

In this second page of the Create and Edit Alarm Definition wizards, you select the models to which this alarm definition applies, or remove models from the alarm definition. The tables show only those models to which you have privileges. If you do not see a model that you expect to see, click the Refresh icon (image\icon_refresh.gif). If the model still does not appear, contact your Platform administrator.

The tables show the following information for each model:

Notes: If you need to update the Available and Selected lists with current Platform information, click image\icon_refresh.gif (Refresh link) next to the table controls (do NOT use your browser's Refresh tool).

You CANNOT change the models after you save the Alarm Definition, so be sure that you have selected the models you require before leaving this page.

How to select models for this alarm definition

  1. In the table of Available Models, select the check box of the model(s) to which you want to apply this alarm definition. To select all models in the table, select the check box in the column heading.

  2. Click Add Checked. (To select all models to which you have privileges, click Add All.)

How to remove models for this alarm definition

  1. In the table of Selected Models, select the check box of the model(s) to which this rule does not apply. To select all models in the table, select the check box in the column heading.

  2. Click Remove Checked. (To remove all models shown, click Remove All.)

When you are finished, click Next or Finish to complete the creation of the Alarm Definition. If you click Cancel and continue canceling, all information configured in this wizard is removed and the View and manage alarm definitions for models page appears.

Tips

o        The maximum number of rows supported for returning Platform search results for this type of table is defined in your user preferences, Items Per Page setting (Long table or Short table).

o        Use the table navigation tools to view different pages and information in the table.

o        Use image\icon_refresh.gif (Refresh link) beside the table navigation tools to refresh the page with the latest Platform results. (Browser Refresh tools do not update the table.)
