Custom actions enable the Axeda® Enterprise Server to do whatever action the developer defined for the action, either in a custom object or in a Java class. If your custom action passes parameters to the custom object or defined method at runtime, this page prompts you for values for those parameters.
From this page, you can view and configure the parameters for the custom action, if applicable.
1. Type the values for the parameters in the text fields provided. The parameters will differ for each custom action. Each field accepts up to 500 characters.
2. Click Next to select the user groups with edit permissions for this action. If you click Finish, the action confirmation page appears. If you click Cancel and continue canceling, all information configured in this wizard is removed.
o In the Rules module on the Asset dashboard (Service application), you can view and enable or disable the rules configured for a specific asset.
o The Audit log module on the Asset dashboard shows a log of activity for the selected asset, including registration, actions run, alarms acknowledged, statuses, usage value setting, and more.
