You can create cases manually from the Case application or the Asset dashboard. (If configured, the server will create cases based on rule evaluation. See help for the Case action.)
1. Use one of the following methods:
§ From the Case application, select the New Case menu.
§ From the Asset dashboard, select the Create link in the Cases module.
2. In the displayed Case Details page, type or select all the values to apply to this case. You can add notes to the case and use the Audit Trail.
3. When
you are done, click Submit. The
new case is saved to the Platform immediately. The Audit
Trail shows the newly created case.
