Choose assets for script wizard

Shows the assets on which the related script is registered and able to be run, or the assets on which the script was unregistered and cannot be run.

The wizard information for a script is presented as follows:

o        Choose assets for script - select the assets on which this script will be registered

o        Choose assets for script - select the assets on which this script will be unregistered

o        Confirmation - select to register or unregister the script from the selected assets, or change the script registration selections first, or cancel the script registration selections altogether.

Warning! When moving backward and forward through the wizard, use the wizard's Back and Next buttons. Do NOT use your browser's back and forward tools.

Choose assets for script - Unregistered Assets

The Available unregistered assets table shows all assets for this model on which this script is not yet registered. The Selected unregistered assets table shows any assets you have selected on which this script will be registered when you finish this wizard.

Note: If you need to update the Available and Selected lists with current server information, click (Refresh link) next to the table controls (do NOT use your browser's Refresh tool).

1.       Do one of the following to register the script on assets:

§         To register the script on selected available assets, from the Available unregistered assets table, select the check box for each asset on which you want to register the related script and click Add checked.

§         To register the script on all assets shown in the current table page, from the Available unregistered assets table, select the check box in the table header and click Add checked.

§         To register the script on all available assets, from the Available unregistered assets table, click Add all.

2.       If you want to exclude one or more of the assets you selected, do one of the following:

§         To exclude specific assets from this script registration, from the Selected unregistered assets table, select the check box for each asset and click Remove checked.

§         To exclude script registration for all assets shown in the current table page, from the Selected unregistered assets table, select the check box in the table header and click Remove checked.

§         To exclude script registration for all selected assets, from the Selected unregistered assets table, select the check box in the table header and click Remove all.

When you are finished, click Next to configure or view the assets on which this script is already registered or selected to be unregistered. If you click Finish because you do not want to unregister the script from any assets, the Confirmation page appears. If you click Cancel and continue canceling, all information configured in this wizard is removed.
