Important! A credential MUST be associated with one or more user groups, or the credential will only be viewable by the user who created the credential. See External Credentials Overview for more information on user group privileges for external credentials.
The User Group Configuration column of the View and manage External Credentials table includes a User Group Edit Permission link for setting up User Groups that handle edit permissions configuration for a specific credential.
Users who belong to the User Groups in the Edit list for a credential can modify and delete that credential. Membership in the Edit list also results in the same visibility behavior as the View list.
Click the User Group Edit Permission link in the User Group Configuration column for a specific credential. The User groups that handle edit permissions page appears.
When you have finished making changes, click Submit.
Note: If you need to update the Available and Selected lists with current Platform information, click (Refresh link) next to the table controls (do NOT use your browser's Refresh tool).
The next step is to assign or modify User Group View Permissions to your external credential.
