Each case may have an associated resolution which can be used to explain how the case was resolved.
You can modify the list of available Resolutions, by removing resolutions or adding new ones; for example, ones that are specific to your business or industry. The list of resolutions can be modified in the Case application, Case Attributes menu. In order to modify resolutions, you need to be defined in a user group that has the appropriate privileges. Contact your server administrator for more information about your user group privileges.
The Resolution values are for user benefit only; the server does not take any specific action based on the resolution assignment for a case.
