The Module Preferences page shows the default behavior for modules when viewed in the Asset dashboard of the Axeda® Service application.
Note: The behaviors controlled by this page are applicable only to modules showing data that displayed in a list that can be refreshed. For example, the Maps module does not provide a list of data and therefore is not shown in this page. In addition, this behavior does not apply to Extended UI Modules.
From this page, you can set and edit module behavior preferences.
1. To set a module to refresh when the server refreshes the browser page, select the Refresh Module check box. Not all modules can be set to refresh; the Refresh Module column shows a check box only if a module has refresh capability. Your Platform administrator determines and configures how frequently a page refreshes, but by default it refreshes every 60 seconds.
Notes: For the best browser
performance, it is a good idea to refresh only those modules containing
data for which you need to see timely updates. For example, if you do
not need to see each new event as it generates, you would want to ensure
that the Events module is not selected for refreshing.
If you are running Axeda IDM Agents on
any of your assets and your Platform administrator has enabled the display
of pages for TotalAccess Server support, you will see the TotalAccess
Sessions module in this list. This module appears with the title, "Remote
Sessions," in Asset dashboards for assets running Axeda IDM Agents
that publish the connection types they support to a TotalAccess Server.
2. To set a module to be hidden from view when there is no information to show in the module list, select the check box in the Hide When Empty column.
3. Click Save Changes.
