The View and manage state machines page provides basic information for a state machine in the table. To view additional details of a state machine, follow one of these steps:
Even if you have only viewing privileges, you can still see the list of states in the state machine definition. Click the icon next to the name of the state machine to display its states and their descriptions. If you have editing privileges, you can edit the state machine from the table.
If you have privileges to edit state machines, you can view complete details for a state machine by clicking the name in the State Machine column of the table. The Axeda® Enterprise Server locates the information configured for the state machine and shows the results in the Configure the state machine page.
To view the models and assets to which a state machine has been applied, click the appropriate icon in the Applies To column for that state machine. The Apply this state machine to models and assets page appears in a separate window on top of the table. As long as you have the appropriate privileges, you can use the tools in this page to apply the state machine to models and assets.
Important! It is possible for another user to make changes to state machines while you are viewing them and therefore, the table may not be displaying the most up-to-date information. At any time, you can refresh the table from the database by clicking Clear in the Filter area.
