Defined Configuration dependencies

Note: This feature is part of the separately licensed Axeda ConnectedConfiguration feature. If the Axeda Platform is not licensed for ConnectedConfiguration or you do not have the required privileges assigned to you by your Platform Administrator, you will not have access to Defined Configuration dependencies.

If you had Axeda ConnectedConfiguration licensing in the past, and created packages and deployments with Defined Configuration dependencies, then those packages/deployments will continue to exist once licensing is removed. However, no asset will ever become eligible for the deployments, and no new deployments can be created for existing packages with Defined Configuration dependencies.

For complete information about package features supported by the different agents, refer to Package Features Supported by Axeda Agents.

A Defined Configuration dependency limits the installation of a package to those assets that match the indicated Defined Configuration. Defined Configurations are created as expression rules. See Defined Asset Configuration for more details.
