Creating and editing asset state groups

Using this wizard, you can create or edit Asset State Groups.

Note: You must have the appropriate privileges in order to create and edit Asset State Groups. In addition, you must have permissions to the related asset.

Warning! When moving backward and forward through the wizard, use the wizard's Back and Next buttons. Do NOT use your browser's back and forward tools.

To create or edit an asset State group

1.       To create a group, select Asset State Group from the New menu in the Configuration application.

To edit an existing group, select Asset State Group from the View menu in the Configuration application and then click the Name of the group you want to edit in the View and manage asset state groups page.

2.       Follow the steps in the wizard:

a.       Create or Edit Asset State Group page

b.       Select Asset States for Asset State Group page

c.       Confirm changes to state group page
