Use this chart type to compare multiple assets and their current data values in a single chart. In this chart format, you can view the current data values for one or more assets of the selected model. Unique colors and legend icons are applied for the data items to help you identify the data trends in the chart.
You can modify the chart to show different assets and data items, and or to show the data in a different format. Once you've modified the chart to show the data items you want, you can magnify the trend chart area to better view the data points, add data trend markers to plot points of interest to you; and select the different a data item of interest to better view its values.
In addition to the operations you can perform on all charts, you can also specify information to show in a Bar Comparison chart, as follows:
1. Select the asset(s) and data item(s) to show in the window. To select multiple assets or data items, press SHIFT or CTRL and select them.
2. Select Weave Data if you want the chart to weave the resulting data value bars by ascending values without grouping the assets. If you do not select to weave the data, the resulting bars appear grouped by asset and then by alphabetical order.
Aligned value display is useful if the values are of the same units; Overlapping value display is most useful if the values are of different units.
