To add a model image for the Asset dashboard:
1. From the View menu of the Configuration application, select Models. The View and manage models page appears.
2. In the UI Configuration column of the View and manage models page, click the Preferences link for the model for which you want to add an image. The Platform displays the UI Preferences page for the model, where you can choose among many options for the model.
3. Under Model Information, click the Upload model image link.
4. In the popup window, click Browse.
5. In the Windows Choose file dialog box, navigate to the directory where the image file is stored, and double-click the name of the image to add it to the server for this model. The format of the image must be GIF or JPG. After you double-click the filename, the system returns you to the popup window.
6. Click Submit to upload the selected image.
Back in the UI Preferences page, the image appears in the Model Information area. In addition, for each asset of this model, the image appears in the Asset dashboard of the Service application.
