The Axeda® Usage application requires a separate license. If your organization has purchased a license for this application, set the privileges for your environment.
The following table lists and describes the privileges associated with the Usage application and explains what granting the privilege enables the user to do and what element (s) of the user interface is (are) affected by the privilege. If other privileges are required for any activity in addition to the one described, they are listed under "Other Requirements or Considerations."
Note that the Usage - View privilege is required for any of the other privileges to work. Without this privilege, users cannot even see the Usage tab.

Create usage items in the Usage application. This privilege controls the display of the Usage Item option in the New menu. To create usage items, the user also needs the Usage - Configuration - View privilege. Other Requirements or Considerations

Modify and delete usage items in the Usage application. This privilege controls the ability to select usage items from, and the display of the delete check boxes and Remove Selected button in, the "Edit or delete usage items" page. To be able to modify or delete usage items, users also need the Usage - Configuration - View privilege. Other Requirements or Considerations

Usage - Usage Rule - Add |
Create usage rules in the Usage application. This privilege controls the display of the Calculation Rule and Scheduled Rule options in the New menu. Other Requirements or Considerations
To be able to modify or delete existing usage rules, including those just created, users also need the Usage - Usage Rule - Edit privilege. |
Usage - Usage Rule - Edit |
Modify and delete usage items in the Usage application. Usage - Usage Target - Edit |
Create and modify targets for usage items in the Usage application. This privilege controls the display of the Targets button in the "Edit usage item name, components, and targets" page, as well as the ability to see the "Set global, model, organization, and asset targets" page. Note: Targets for usage items cannot be deleted; they can be modified only. To be able to create or modify usage item targets, users also need the Usage - Configuration - View privilege.
