Select the filter items by which you want to limit the data shown. Only the Platform information to which you have access is shown. Values for items with "*" are required.
1. Data Type - select the type of usage values to include in this search, as follows:
§ Incremental - show results for usage items with periodic values (containing changes in value over time)
§ Cumulative - show results for usage items with actual values (current reading of the associated counter item)
2. By Organization - select the organization for which you want to view usage data.
3. By Location - for the related organization, select the location for the usage data to view. If blank, data for all locations for this organization is shown.
4. By Model - select the model for which you want to view usage data.
5. By Asset Group - for the related model, select the asset group for the usage data to view. If blank, data for all asset groups for this model is shown.
6. By Usage Item - select the usage item(s) for which you want to view usage data. To select multiple data items, press CTRL or SHIFT and select the items.
7. Group By - select if you want to group search results by usage item. Depending upon how you select to group, you may or may not be able to create a chart of the results.
8. Logical Date Range - define the dates and intervals for which you want to see usage data:
§ Logical Date Range - the date range relative to when the search is selected for viewing. For example, a Current Week search will include all usage data for the current week (Sunday - present day); a Last Week search will include all usage data for the entire previous week (Sunday - Saturday).
§ Custom Range - use this selection to create a custom range for this search, using a combination of the Start and End dates and Interval. Those selections will be saved with the search and applied when the search is run.
Note: When a search with
a Logical Date Range other than Custom
Range is run, the data returned is based on a search run for the
current date. For example, a current month range search created in October
and run in April will return data from April (the actual current month).
When a search configured with a custom range is run, the actual start and
end dates and interval selections are applied as defined.
§ Start Date - the beginning date for the data you want to view. By default, this shows the first day of the current month.
§ End Date - the end date for the data you want to view. By default this shows the current date.
§ Interval - Select the "time-slices"
of data you want to view. This affects how the search results table shows
the usage data. For example, for a Daily
interval selection, the total usage is calculated and shown for each day,
for each asset; for a "Weekly" selection, the results table
shows total usage for each asset for each week of the data shown.
If left blank, the total usage is calculated for the entire time range
of the results set.
Note: The Axeda® Platform stores usage data in resolutions of an hour or greater. For example, if the Platform receives data posts six times an hour, the usage system will aggregate the data for those six posts them into a single usage data entry for that hour. If the Platform receives only one post a day, the usage system will store only one post for the day.
