Searching for Rule Timers

In a Platform that contains many rule timers, it can be time-consuming to locate a particular rule timer by sorting the table, even with the multiple column sort. If you want to see only rule timers that begin or end with a certain sequence of characters or that have a particular Schedule, use the Filter tool at the top of the View and manage rule timers page.

1.       Click the image\icon_filterexprules_right_arrow.gif arrow to display the Filter area of the page.

2.       Specify your search criteria, using the following fields:

§         Timer -- Type all or part of the name of the state machine you want to find. You can use the asterisk wildcard character (*) for single or multiple characters.

§         Schedule -- Type the Cron expression of the Schedule configured for the timer(s) you want to find. You can type all or part of the Cron expression.

§         Description -- Type some or all of the characters used in the description of the rule timer(s) you want to find. You can use the asterisk wildcard character (*) in this field.

3.       When ready, click Filter. When the table refreshes, it displays all state machines that match your search criteria.

Important! It is possible for another user to make changes to rule timers while you are viewing them and therefore, the table may not be displaying the most up-to-date list information. At any time, you can refresh the table from the Platform by clicking Clear in the Filter area.
