From the View and manage rule timers page, you can edit the rule timer inline (from within the table), as follows:
1. Click the () icon to display details of the selected timer within the table.
2. As long as you have the privileges needed to edit rule timers, you can edit the following details for the timer:
§ Name -- the name assigned to the timer when it was created. You can change the name of the timer in this field. You can use up to 50 alphanumeric and special characters.
§ Description -- text concerning the purpose of the timer. You can use up to 2000 alphanumeric and special characters.
§ Schedule - Click the Select button for each component of the schedule that you want to change. Refer to the topic, Configure the Schedule for a Rule Timer, for details.
3. If you make changes to the Schedule of the rule timer here, the Schedule field indicates when a change makes the schedule invalid - the outside edge of the box containing the schedule is outlined in red. When you mouse over the field, a message appears, explaining the error. Once you have corrected an error, the red outline disappears.
4. Click Save to save your changes.
5. To hide the details for a rule timer, click the icon.
