Clearing the Java Plug-in Cache

If you are attempting to take advantage of the feature of the Application Bridge that enables it to increment to the next available port (you selected a range of ports for a Remote Application type of remote session and used the <$HOSTS> variable to load the local IP address), and it does not increment, you need to clear the Java Plug-in cache. The cache is storing an earlier version of the AppBridge.jar file. This feature is available as of the Summer '11 Release, Summer '11, Upgrade 2, release.

To clear the Java Plug-in cache:

1.       Close all browser windows.

2.       From the Windows Control Panel, open the Java Control Panel.

3.       Under Temporary Internet Files in the General tab click the Settings... button.

4.       In the Temporary File Settings dialog box, click the Delete Files... button.

5.       In the confirmation dialog box, select the Applications and Applets option and then click OK.
