The Axeda® Case application requires a separate license. If your organization has purchased this license, then you will see the Case privileges in the User Group Privileges page.
The following table lists all the privileges associated with the Axeda® Case application and explains what granting the privilege enables the user to do and what element (s) of the user interface is (are) affected by the privilege. If other privileges are required for any activity in addition to the one described, they are listed under "Other Requirements or Considerations."
For users to perform any of the activities in the Case application, they must have the Case - View privilege; without this privilege, they cannot even see the Case tab. For some activities, users also need the Case - View All privilege.
Note: Users must also have permissions to the Asset Group to see and take action on cases for an asset.

Case - Create Notes |

Case - Delete Notes |
Delete the notes of a case in the Case Details page of the Case application. With this privilege, users can delete notes of any cases to which they have asset permissions, whether or not they created those notes. Case - Maintain Case Attributes |
Configure case attributes in the Maintain Case Attributes page of the Case application. With this privilege, users can configure all cases (regardless of owner) to which they have asset permissions. Case - Modify All |
Edit all details of a case in the Case Details page of the Case application. With this privilege, users can modify all cases (regardless of owner) to which they have asset permissions. This privilege also provides the Case - View All privilege to the user. Other Requirements or Considerations

Case - Modify Assigned |
Edit all details of a case in the Case Details page of the Case application. With this privilege, users can modify only those cases for which they are assigned as owner and to which they have asset permissions. Case - Modify Notes |
Edit notes in the Case Details page of the Case application. With this privilege, users can modify notes only for the cases to which they are assigned as owner and to which they have asset permissions. Case - Reassign |

Case - Search Customization |

Case - View |

Case - View All |
View all cases to which they have permissions (not only those for which they are the owners). The Platform adds this privilege automatically to a user group when that user group is provided privileges for modifying cases. Notes: If a user group does not have either Case - View All or Case - View Assigned privileges, those users or partner contacts cannot view any cases (from Asset dashboard - Cases module - View All). If a user group has the Case - View Assigned privilege and does not have the Case - View All privilege, the users in that group can access only those cases to which they are assigned (as case owners), and partner contacts can access only those cases assigned to the associated partner. Case - View Assigned |
View all cases for which he or she is assigned as owner. Note: If a user group does not have either Case - View All or Case - View Assigned privileges, those users or partner contacts cannot view any cases (by clicking View All in the Cases module on the Asset dashboard). If a user group has the Case - View Assigned privilege and does not have the Case - View All privilege, the user can access only those privileges to which he or she is assigned (as case owner), and partner contacts will be able to access only those cases assigned to the associated partner.
