While creating or editing asset conditions, you can associate one or more data expressions with the condition. When any of the data expressions that match the criteria you specify in this page evaluate to True, the Axeda® Platform automatically sets this condition in the Platform. If the current condition of the asset is Good (or of a lower severity than this condition), the Platform displays this condition in all Status fields in the applications. For example, when you view the Status field from the Asset dashboard, you will see this condition.
If you configure multiple data expressions for this condition, all data expressions must evaluate to false before the Platform can unset the condition. As long as a single data expression is the only trigger configured for the condition, the Platform can automatically unset this condition once the configured data expression evaluates to false.
Warning! When moving backward and forward through the wizard, use the wizard's Back and Next buttons. Do NOT use your browser's back and forward tools.

2. From the Data Item list, select the data item to evaluate for this condition. This field is required. The list of Operators changes, based on the data type of the selected data item.
3. From the Operator list, select the operator to use for this expression. The list of available operators changes, based on the data type of the data item. This field is required.
4. In the Value field, type the value against which you want to compare the current value of the selected data item. This field is required.
5. Click Add to display the data expression in the table in the lower part of the page.
6. If you are modifying an existing asset condition and want to remove a data expression, select the check box for the expression in the rightmost column of the table, and then click Remove Checked.
7. When ready, click Next to continue adding or modifying the asset condition. To exit the wizard without saving any information, click Cancel.
The next page is the Review asset condition changes page, where you can review your selections, return to previous pages, save your changes, or exit the wizard without saving any changes.
