Select the filter items by which you want to limit the data shown. Only the Platform information to which you have access is shown. Values for items with "*" are required.

Data Type - select the type of usage values to include in this search, as follows:

o        Incremental - show results for usage items with periodic values (containing changes in value over time)

o        Cumulative - show results for usage items with actual values (current reading of the associated counter item)

By Organization - select the organization(s) for which you want to view usage data. Press CTRL or SHIFT and select multiple organizations if desired.

o        By City & State - for the related organizations, select the city and state location for the usage data to view. If blank, data for all locations for this organization is shown. You can use wildcards ("*") to view all assets that contain the same characters as part of the filter information. For example, to view all state names starting with "M", type the following in the State box: M*.

By Model - select the model(s) for which you want to view usage data. Press CTRL or SHIFT and select multiple models if desired.

By Asset Group - for the related model(s), select the asset group(s) for the usage data to view. If you select the Root Asset Group, data for all asset groups is shown. After you select the name of an asset group in the right column, the fully qualified path name of the selected group's Parent Asset Group is displayed below the By Asset Group box (in the same column).

By Manufacturer - select the manufacturer(s) for which you want to view usage data.

By Asset Name - type the asset name for which you want to view usage data. You can use wildcards ("*") to view all assets that contain the same characters as part of the filter information. For example, to view all asset names containing "ST", type the following in the asset Name box: *ST*.

By Usage Item - select the usage item(s) for which you want to view usage data.

Group By - select how you want the search results grouped in the search results. For example, if you select "Organization" the search results are ordered by organization name.

Logical Date Range - define the date range relative to when the search is selected for viewing. For example, a Current Week search will include all usage data for the current week (Sunday - present day); a Last Week search will include all usage data for the entire previous week (Sunday - Saturday). A Custom Range uses this Logical Date Range selection to create a search using the Start and End Dates and Interval.

o        Start Date - the beginning date for the data you want to view. By default, this shows the first day of the current month.

o        End Date - the end date for the data you want to view. By default this shows the current date.

o        Interval - select the "time-slices" of data you want to view. This affects how the search results table shows the usage data. For example, for a Daily interval selection, the total usage is calculated and shown for each day, for each asset; for a "Weekly" selection, the results table shows total usage for each asset for each week of the data shown.

If left blank, the total usage is calculated for the entire time range of the results set.

If you select a "cumulative" data type for the search, you must select an interval.

Notes:

When a search with a Logical Date Range other than Custom Range is run, the data returned is based on a search run for the current date. For example, a current month range search created in October and run in April will return data from April (the actual current month).

When a search configured with a custom range is run, the actual start and end dates and interval selections are applied as defined.

If you select a range other than Custom Range and then click one of the start or end date boxes or calendar controls, the logical date range changes to Custom Range.
